A. Prof. Jinhua Tan, Wuhan University Of Technology, China
Tan Jinhua, FM, associate professor, born in Zhongxiang, Hubei province, has been a faculty member in department of road and bridge engineering, transportation school, Wuhan university of technology ，(Hubei province, China) since1995. She received the B.S. degree in Harbors, Water Channels and Coast Engineering from Wuhan University , Wuhan, China, in 1995, the M.S. degree in Structure Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2001, and PHD. degree in Bridge and Tunnel Engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2007. She was a visiting scholar in the department of civil and environmental engineering, UC Davis, USA, from 2014 to 2015. Her research interest includes structure fatigue and fracture behavior, bridge structural reliability and failure risk assessment, structural health assessment and management strategy. She has won a third prize of science and technology progress award from Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai, China, and another third prize of science and technology progress award from Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, Tianjin, China. She is good at 3D numerical simulation for cracked steel bridges, and know well about steel structure (steel bridge) flaws detection, structure health status evaluation and residual life assessment, successively published more than 20 research articles.
